I started teaching art from a little make shift studio in my home in 2007. Soon, I went from one after school class per week to three, then I added weekly home school classes, adult paint nights, and then summer camps. The last year I taught from home, I had 13 summer camps and over 130 students. It was a total provision from God and an answer to prayer, plus pushed me to pursue the creative path God had for me. Teaching was such a fun time, but soon my girls started having their own activities and busy schedules, and I just couldn't juggle it all. I've missed teaching, but I'm still not at a season in my life where I can schedule live, in person workshops on a regular basis. I've wanted to offer online classes for awhile now, but my technology learning curve is SLOW, but I'm heading in that direction.
I've set up my You Tube channel HERE-please go and subscribe. I just posted a series of short instructional videos that teach you how to make the crafty version of these adorable funky hearts-for FREE! Each Monday, I'm trying to post a "QUICK FIX" time lapse video of me painting, and will have more free instructional tutorials to come. If you want to be sure you don't miss when I put up new videos, go sign up for my VIDEO EMAIL list HERE. This is different from my VIP list-you will be notified each time I have a FREE series, or other online workshops, available- plus special offers, downloads and discount codes. In fact, if you'd like a FREE pdf of the Funky Heart supply list and instructional bullet points, sign up HERE, and I'll get it to you right away!
